Changes to the board of Ober-Haus

On January 9, Guntis Kanenbergs took over as Chairman of the Board of Ober-Haus in Latvia from Aija Abolina.
“I have been part of the Ober-Haus professional team for 18 years and for the past 11 years I have had the honor and responsibility to lead this wonderful team of professionals. We focused on quality of service and consistent and thoughtful development, which for many years helped to secure and maintain one of the TOP positions in the market, ”said Aija Āboliņa, who since 2009 has been managing Ober-Haus in Latvia.
The new Chairman of the Board, Guntis Kanenbergs, started his experience in the real estate industry ten years ago, managing the Commercial Property department of Arco Real Estate. Prior to that, Mr. Kanenberg gained experience in serving corporate clients, working as a project finance manager for AS Swedbank for almost 7 years. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to join one of the industry’s largest teams of experts to work together to achieve our goals. As before, we will continue to work on commercial property and residential segment brokerage services, focusing on providing new office building lease to developers, as well as managing new residential projects, choosing the professional service provider who handles the most complete information, provides expert insight and solutions for all parties involved in real estate transactions. We`ll work together to achieve sustainable and long-term growth. I see the potential for growth in commercial property valuation as investor activity increases and we are able to offer experienced certified valuator services, ”noted Mr. Kanenbergs.
Ober-Haus started its operations in Latvia in 1998. The company has more than 55 real estate experts with offices in Riga, Ventspils, Liepaja, Kandava, Jelgava, Valmiera and Daugavpils. In 2007, Ober-Haus joined the Finnish real estate market leader Realia Group. Ober-Haus achieved a turnover of 1,212 million euros in 2018.
